It is situated on the canal between Nantes and Brest which construction began at the beginning of the 19th C. It extends over 360 km across Brittany. There are 237 locks and lock-keepers' houses along the canal and the reaches were maintained in good condition. Nice fishing gîte (gîte de pêche) for up to 15 people equipped with a fitted kitchen, a dining room and a large lounge with fireplace.
